Saying no

Learning how to simply say no thank you can be a very powerful way to take your power back. If you don’t want to do something or you don’t like something simply saying I don’t want to or no thank you, going against the grain of the group so to speak, can be a very powerful experience of listening to your own inner voice.


You don’t have to be combative at all to disagree. Simply stating no thank you is kind especially when you are listening to a part of yourself that is screaming out. That’s your gut.


So as you move through today, I encourage you to pay attention to when your body when your mind when your soul is screaming out and begging you to say no. If you’re not quite there yet to vocalize it, pay attention to what’s going on inside of you first.


What’s going on around you when inside of you says get me out of here. When you are craving to say no, examine the people places and situations that are occurring maybe journal about it later. Connect with your feelings and your experience so that maybe next time, you can say no.


Because like everything, this is an ongoing practice.
