Daily Affirmations + Introspections

I have been reading Old Path White Clouds by Thich Nhat Hanh with a book club and as i was reading this morning i came across a passage in a story about the Buddha crossing paths with a violent and vicious murderer. He was attempting to get this warrior to change his ways and told him

“it’s never too late to do a good act”

And i have sat with that all morning. It’s truly never too late to engage in the practice of cultivating stillness. It’s never too late to dive in. It’s never too late to start over. Sometimes we think, i can’t do it because of some factor like age or timeline. But all we have is now, today. It’s never too late to start loving yourself.
