Uranus Enters Gemini

On 4/25 (Saturday) Uranus will change signs. Uranus is the planet of change in originality, symbolizing the element of surprise in your life. Uranus brings about sudden events and opportunities. It awakens, shocks, and revolutionizes. It is responsible for the flash of human genius that creates something new. Uranus relates to your inner will in your secret power. In certain respects its power is similar to that of Mars. The difference is that Uranus is a deep seated energy within the personality, an unconscious purpose that is revealed over a lifetime. 

Uranus changes zodiac signs every 7-8 years and we have entered a shift from the fixed energy of Taurus to the mutable sign of Gemini. In the next 7-8 years we will see a huge rise in innovations, in AI, and in all communications. This transit invites the voices of change, of thinking outside of the existing norms to come forth and take the lead. 

The energy of Gemini is very adaptable and seeks to connect in a communicative way. This is the time to create, to expand, and to open the doors of your mind to the changes that are on the way for us all as a society. I personally think this will be such a time for the expansion of spiritually and for those who are leading the pathways there. Opening up to this energy is about welcoming the unexpected, riding those waves, and leaning in. The very essence of Uranus is shaking things up, so when things begin to shake, move with it rather than fighting against it. 

Every astrological event I get messages about it due to how fantasticalized (is that even a word) everything gets - If you can rile people's emotions up, you can sell whatever. SO don't get too tripped up on making those moves that will set you up for the next "however" years. Don't let those hyped up posts get to you. What is important is that you take this as the opportunity to open your mind and open your heart, to deepen the way you connect inward so you can reach for the stars. Invite your inner genius innovator to the surface as we settle into this new energy. 

Uranus in Gemini last occurred about 84 (1941-1949) years ago, and during that time we saw a huge shift in technology, in communication and in the way we connect as a whole society. Reflecting on the changes during this time period can help us to understand a little more the shifts that we experienced as a society during the technology shifts of that area. We can expect some of the same booms in communication, like we have already seen with the surge of AI. This energy of communication will also invite those who have been using thor voices in a public way to take center stage so to speak. Gemini is fun, quick witted, and open for the possibilities of whatever is coming her way. Take this as your sign to open up just a tiny bit more. Allow those changes to come, ride the waves and you’ll likely find a little peace along the way. The more we let go the more we are able to receive.
