A mentor of mine once said something to me that always stuck in the back of my mind when a relationship ended or something transitioned into something new.
She said something along the lines of;
Everyone we meet, everything we encounter is for a reason, a season or a lifetime and we don’t get to choose which it is. We just get to enjoy the ride.
