Be here now

Ram Dass was famous for his book Be Here Now and he popularized the concept of simply being in the now, mindfulness. The practice of coming back to the present moment is HARD. the world is busy, our minds are running a million miles an hour, and it can be very challenging to come back to the present moment. But this is really when we need it the most.


When life is spinning out of control, when all things seem to be going at the same time, when the overwhelm of life sets in, this is when we need ourselves the most.


Be present with yourself in those time by coming into your being via your breath. Be here, in the now, in this present moment by focusing on yourself breath coming into your lungs and expanding outward and and follow the fair as you exhale and your lungs empty. Come back into your being one breath at a time.


That is how to be here now.
