We have a beautiful Full Moon in the strong and tenacious sign of Capricorn on Monday June 29th. The energy of Capricorn can be perceived as cold, harsh, or rigid at her worst. But at her best, Capricorn is strong, capable, and willing to do what it takes to move forward. Capricorn is an energy that struggles with power, bringing us a powerful opportunity to reflect, release, and realign around themes of power and control. Capricorn energy is earthy, disciplined, and deeply rooted in structure and purpose, it asks us to be honest about our goals, the foundations we’re building our lives on, and whether our actions are truly aligned with our soul’s integrity, not just society’s expectations.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of time, responsibility, and karma. Saturn doesn’t cut corners, It teaches us through harsher experiences, boundaries, and long-term commitments. Under this full moon, Saturn’s influence may feel like a cosmic life review: What have you been avoiding? Where are you being called to level up? What outdated stories or fears are keeping you small?
This moon offers a deep and sacred moment to pause and take inventory. It’s not about hustling harder, it’s about coming back to yourself, your values, and your inner authority- your heart. It’s about showing up fully for the life you’re trying to build, without bypassing the emotional work that must come first.
A Full Moon is always an ideal time for shadow work, especially right now with themes of control, fear of failure, people-pleasing, and self-worth tied to productivity. Allow the grounded, no-BS energy of Capricorn to guide you inward, while Saturn gently reminds you: your healing is your responsibility, and your freedom is found in accountability.
This is our Strawberry moon and a beautiful offering of opening for the closed energy of Capricorn. The sweetness of this moon can help soften and allow more connections when we allow our walls to come down, just a little.
Indigenous Teaching: The heart berry

The lessons around the moon this time of year are centred around the heart, community and our deep connection to everyone and everything around us.
In the beginning of creation, the Creator dreamed up a wide variety of animals, plants, nutrients and a whole world full of many different kinds of beings. After a while, they began to notice their differences. They started to judge and put down one another, their words and actions became hateful and harmful to one another, their spirits became damaged.
This created a divide among them. Some creations felt as if they were better than others, other groups felt entitled to the space and energy of the other beings. The beings fought and created dysfunction and destruction among all living creatures. Seeing this, the Creator knew they had to do something and dreamed into being a sweet red barry that would awaken the heart space and bring healing to all creations, the heart berry (strawberry). This medicine was planted all around the animals and plants and grew easily and quickly. The medicine of the heart berry, the medicine of love, rapidly opened the hearts of all of creation. They began to see each other as kin and with respect as their hearts opened fully.
The Animal Medicine of the Moon is the Goose. The goose’s message is that of community and the sacred circle. Our community is our kin, and we must fully open our hearts to be good allies and leaders to one another. We never leave behind the sick or weak, we stand beside them to support them on this journey. As we practice to open our hearts, the medicine of the goose reminds us that we can fly further when we stick together. We cannot fly free unless we all fly free.
Full Moon Affirmation: “As I remember the power that my heart holds to make amends and repair harm, I contribute to the well-being and healing of all my relations. I am the medicine.”
aho mitakuye oyasin (all my relations)
Shadow Work:
1. Where in my life am I operating from fear of failure instead of trust in my path?
2. How is my heart space closed?
3. Where am I resisting connection, collaboration, or community?
4. In what ways do I fear being perceived as “not enough”?
5. What outdated expectations or roles do I need to release?
