An invitation
A valuable tool on the healing path is inviting your inner child, your inner being, to come out and enjoy experiences and safety of today.
Especially if you have a traumatic childhood or have been left, feeling unsafe, inviting that small part of yourself to come forward and enjoy the life that you have created can be a very healing way to calm some of those energies within that still linger from childhood.
This is something that I do when I do something fun. When I went to Disneyland about five years ago, I had never been. I invited my inner child out the whole time to enjoy an experience that I dreamed about as a child. It wasn’t the same as if I would have gone as a kid, however, I was able to allow that child like joy in my heart to be filled. I also do this when I go to the zoo or when we go to OMSI as a family. You can invite this part of yourself to be seen anytime that feels impactful for you.
Breathing into your body, and reminding yourself that you are safe, that you are OK, as long as you are there with yourself.
