Meditation & Spiritual Teacher
Jess Spain
"Hello! My name is Jess and I am thrilled to be leading this retreat. (This is my fourth one!) I use my educational background of clinical psychology, my cultural (indigenous- Umpqua Cow Creek) identity and practices, and my personal experience to help others find their way back to themselves. I have been on a personal trauma healing journey for the last 20 years, focusing on introspection and cultivating mindful awareness the last 7 years. I started Two Moons in 2020 and I truly believe in the empowering and transformative forces of shadow work and mindfulness for trauma and healing. I am honored to be in a position to help lead others back home."

Artist & Medium
Emilie Turner
"I am a compassionate intuitive medium, artist, and advocate for holistic healing. Throughout my life's voyage, I have encountered significant challenges and setbacks, each of which has contributed to my growth and understanding of resilience. From childhood to young adulthood, I faced obstacles that tested my strength and perseverance, ultimately leading me on a path of self-discovery and healing."
Yoga
Sara Barger
“Hello I’m super excited to meet everyone and share my love for breath and movement- through the healing practice of yoga. I started doing yoga in 2001 only to obtain physical fitness and to strive to meet unrealistic societal “beauty standards”. Shortly after that my life took a turn. I went through some dark times of bad decisions, addiction, and running from pain. When I decided to take steps to save my life, I instinctively started up my yoga practice to start taking care of my body. As I immersed myself in a yoga practice I’ve learned that yoga is much more than just a physical practice- it is emotional, mental, and spiritual. I literally was learning how to heal myself! I gained the tools to become present in my body, stay in the moment (let shit go), and honor my breath. I learned how to connect to myself and allow my true self to step forward- to love myself and in return love others more deeply. I have been teaching yoga for 8 years now. I love watching the way yoga impacts people's lives. It is my experience that through yoga we can feel both energized and grounded at the same time- on the mat we sweat and sometimes cry. As a yoga teacher, I’m only a guide providing an outline. You are invited to write your own story as we move and breathe- there is no wrong or right way of doing things. I can’t wait to spend the weekend with each and every one of you!!”
