On Thursday 12/4 we have the last Full moon of the year 2025 and it's in Gemini, this is our Cold moon or Little Spirit Moon.

The energy of Gemini is quick witted, intelligent and strives to make connections. Gemini is one of the three air signs of the zodiac, and one of the hallmarks of air energy is communication, they love to connect. Air element is about expression and communication, so as you dive into working with this energy, think about the ways in which these are blocked and what could be let go of in these areas in order to help you to continue to be your highest self.
Gemini is all about connection and communication. For this moon, we are being asked to not only look at how we are communicating to the people in our lives but also in how we are communicating with ourselves too. Looking at the tone of the voice within and reevaluating how we can show up in a more supportive and loving way, to ourselves and in turn to others.
The energy of Gemini is adaptable and able to move with a sense of flow from one subject to the next. Not only in conversations but in life as well. Tapping into this energy for the full moon shed is about looking at what stands in the way of this free flowing energy within you. Explore where you have been standing in the way of your own inner sense of flow and how you can gently move out of your own way. The dual nature of Gemini can also bring about a need to balance differing perspectives or navigate indecision. Emotionally, the full moon's reflective light may reveal hidden feelings or unresolved issues related to communication, calling for honest expression and mindful listening. This is an ideal time to embrace curiosity, explore new ideas, and strengthen connections while remaining conscious of overthinking or scattered focus.

The Indigenous name for this Moon is the Little Spirit Moon or the Cold Moon. One of the medicines of this moon is a reminder that we can meet the healers of our own lives and this moon calls on us to pause and go within and recognize this inner healer, this power within. This moon is a reminder that your own inner healer is powerful. Your body and spirit know what it needs to do by going inward and asking yourself how you can be the best support for yourself on this journey. The little spirit moon asks us to call upon this inner strength and shed what stands in the way of you connecting with this profound inner healer.
Each moon we are also offered the medicine of an animal and the one for this moon is the snake. (Very fitting as we approach the end of the year of the snake and enter the year of the horse.) Snakes represent shedding, letting things that serve no purpose to fall by the way side as the natural cycle of life. So as you meditate on this moon, and on your own shed, allow what needs to go to GO. Little by little, bit by bit, allow yourself to shed what no longer serves you like the old skin of a snake. Allow yourself to step into a new version of yourself.
If tears are a part of the shed for you, remember that water is sacred and the water that your body is letting go of is your sacred connection to those emotional waters within. Let them flow and free yourself of the weights of holding on to them. Welcome your personal evolution with open arms by not resisting the flow of emotions. That little spirit within, your inner healer, are the parts of yourself you have been too afraid to witness. They are your most valuable teachers and healers. They are the medicine.
Shadow Work Prompts:
What is the tone of my inner dialogue?
How do I connect with others?
How do I connect within?
How can I slow down?
Is there something I need to say that I am holding back?
What do I need to let go of?
Happy Full Moon!
Love,
Jess
